Build an honest inventory
- Count boxes and list furniture with approximate dimensions
- Identify unusually heavy, fragile or high-value items
- Record dismantling and reassembly needs
- Exclude prohibited, hazardous or undeclared goods
Separate labour from transport
Loading help does not automatically include a vehicle or responsibility for transport. If the provider drives goods between addresses, the vehicle, driver and appropriate business and goods cover must meet the final marketplace requirements.
Check both addresses
- Parking and permits
- Stairs, lifts, narrow doors and carrying distance
- Collection and key times
- Who confirms inventory and condition at handover
